Capricorn, CQ and NQ Rescue Helicopters at Hamilton Island Airport Thursday

The terrible collision between two motorised buggies on Hamilton Island on Thursday 10 March brought three of the regions rescue helicopter to the Airport to transport the injured to hospitals at Mackay, Proserpine and Townsville.  Pictured below are the Mackay-based Central Queensland Rescue Helicopter Service (CQ Rescue) Bell 412EP VH-CQJ ("Rescue 412"), the Townsville-based Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue Bell 412 VH- ESD ("Rescue 521") and the Rockhampton-based Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS) Bell 412EP VH-EPR ("Rescue 300") were all involved in the uplift.







Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims in today's accident and we wish them all the speedy recovery from their injuries.
