Corporate Aviation Bell 429 Global Ranger Helicopter VH-EQP Back in CQ at Gladstone and Hamilton Island Airports

On Saturday 13 April, the familiar sight of Corporate Aviation Bell 429 Global Ranger helicopter VH-EQP was back in Central Queensland.  It departed its Southport base for a refuel at Gladstone Airport before continuing to Hamilton Island Airport.

At the time of writing, VH-EQP appears to be staying at Hamo for at least the night.

UPDATE!  VH-EQP departed Hamilton Island Airport for Gladstone Airport and Southport on Thursday 18 April.

Also staying at Hamilton Island Airport is Edwards Coaches Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-KXL which arrived from Roma Airport on Friday 12 April, along with Silver Linings Aviation Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-ZEK which arrived from Bankstown on Wednesday 10 April.

UPDATE!  VH-KXL departed Hamilton Island Airport for Armidale on Sunday 14 April.

UPDATE!  VH-ZEK departed Hamilton Island Airport for Bankstown on Thursday 18 April.

Meanwhile, a couple of other corporate and light General Aviation (GA) movements also on Saturday 13 April included Brisbane-based Bell Helicopter Textron 206L-3 Long Ranger III helicopter VH-DUB which looked to also arrive into Hamilton Island Airport.  It looked to fly up from the Sunshine Coast via Bundaberg and Rockhampton Airports.

UPDATE!  VH-DUB departed Hamilton Island Airport for Rockhampton and Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airports on Tuesday 16 April.

While down at Mackay Airport, locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ returned 'home' from Brisbane.  It had flown South on Thursday 11 April.

Finally, out at Longreach Airport, Pegasus Air / Agile Aviation (of South Australia) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-TCP arrived directly from its Adelaide base.

UPDATE!  VH-TCP returned direct to Adelaide on Monday 15 April.
