Airborne P/L (Palm Lake Works) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PLE Back at Bundaberg Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 11 August, Ipswich-based Airborne P/L (Palm Lake Works) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PLE made yet another visit to Bundaberg Airport.  It looked to arrive from and depart back to the Gold Coast.

Fellow Pilatus PC-12/45 VH-PID was noted departing Rockhampton Airport for Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and then Toowoomba.  It had arrived into Rocky from its Toowoomba base at the start of the week.

Austrek Aviation Cessna 310 VH-DZX arrived into Rockhampton Airport from its Toowoomba base.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 12 August, VH-DZX departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Toowoomba.

While the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK was noted calling into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Mareeba before heading back there.

And recently delivered Heli-Aust Whitsundays Bell Helicopter Textron 429 VH-MTR was noted departing Gladstone Airport for Rockhampton Airport.  It then returned South.  VH-MTR has only just been registered and flew up from Archerfield earlier in the week.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 15 August, VH-MTR departed Gladstone Airport and flew up to Mackay Airport, presumably on delivery to Heli-Aust Whitsundays and their base there.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 11 August, West Coast Seaplanes (Broome, Western Australia) Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ flew up from Bundaberg Airport to Nebo Aerodrome then to Rockhampton Airport and then back to Bundy.

Even though the Caravan is registered in Western Australia, it seems that it might be based at the Rum City.

Finally, also on Wednesday 11 August, Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY was noted returning to its Sunshine Coast base from Barcaldine Airport.  It appears to have flown there from the Sunny Coast on Tuesday 10 August.

Sincere thanks to the Sunshine Coast Plane Spotting Facebook page for allowing us to share their great photo of VH-PLE!
