Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 Bizjet VH-WMY Calls into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour - Plus More!

On Thursday 16 March, Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY flew up from Melbourne (Moorabbin) to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour before then flying down to Waikerie, Mildura and then back to Moorabbin.

Of interest, over the previous week, VH-WMY also visited Miles Airport twice.

Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ as "Navair 131" visited Mackay Airport from Bankstown and Cessnock.

LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" visited Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.

And Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY looked to fly up from the Sunshine Coast to Bundaberg Airport to complete airwork before then returning to the Sunny Coast.  

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 16 March, Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-CVN as HND456 departed Rockhampton Airport for Cairns.  Fellow Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravans VH-JES and VH-MRZ operated flights from Rockhampton Airport to and back from the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.

Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast.

Amateur-built Rans S-21 Outbound VH-RHM flew out from Kilcoy to Roma Airport and then Longreach Airport.

UPDATE!  On Monday 20 March, VH-RHM returned to Kilcoy from Longreach Airport but via Emerald Airport.

And Vectra Holdings / Basair Australia Piper PA-28-161 Cherokee aircraft VH-BDG and VH-BKM flew from Scone to Tamworth and then to Emerald and Mackay Airports.

UPDATE!  On Friday 17 March, VH-BDG and VH-BKM flew down from Mackay Airport to Rockhampton Airport before they continued to Gladstone Airport and then the Gold Coast.

Finally, also on Thursday 16 March, the Mooney Pilots Association of Australia annual fly-in happened at Longreach Airport.  We heard through the day some 13 Mooney's touch down at Longreach Airport.  M20K VH-MYV, M20J VH-PCZ, M20P VH-CVB, M20P VH-JSD, M20P VH-OKC, M20P VH-MKP M20P VH-CAI, M20C VH-OYI, M20T VH-MZG, M20J VH-KKN and M20R VH-VVV, M20R VH-MBR and M20P VH-FAF.
