Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-8 MAX BBJ A62-002 as “Envoy 67” Pops into Bundaberg - Plus More!

On Friday 13 June, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-8 MAX BBJ A62-002 as "Envoy 67" flew up from Canberra and Coffs Harbour to Bundaberg and later departed back to Canberra via airwork at Tamworth.


While fellow Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-207 "Stallion 53" flew up from RAAF Base Amberley to a missed approach at Emerald Airport and then to one at Rockhampton Airport and the Sunshine Coast before heading back to Amberley.

And Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Search and Rescue (CHC Helicopters Australia / Lloyd Helicopters) Agusta AW139 helicopter VH-SYZ as "Choppa 22" landed at Emerald Airport from RAAF Base Williamtown and Moree. Twenty miles short of Emerald Airport however, they called a "Pan Pan" as their instruments showed they were out of fuel, they kept going and made it to land okay.


Finally, also on Friday 13 June, a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing P-8A Poseidon Maritime Surveillance Aircraft A47-008 as "Mariner 11" and A47-010 as "Mariner 12" were noted travelling together from Darwin to RAAF Base Edinburgh via a missed approach at Mount Isa on their way down.
