Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN (Finally) Spotted at Clermont Aerodrome - Plus More!

On Wednesday 17 February, Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN was finally spotted by me parked at my local Clermont Aerodrome after earlier making its weekly arrival from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.

A the time of writing, it is expected to return to Wellcamp early on Thursday 18 February.

Meanwhile, a little earlier, also on Wednesday 17 February, Link Airways / Vee H Aviation Cessna 441 VH-VEJ flew up from Brisbane and looked to call into Glenden before then continuing across to Clermont Aerodrome.  It then flew back to Brisbane.

Finally, also on Wednesday 17 February, Air Gold Coast Beech 58 Baron VH-YDC arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville before it later departed to Kingaroy, Archerfield and the Gold Coast.  It had flown North from the Gold Coast to Townsville via Kingaroy the previous day.

Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra Bizjet VH-MMC Back at Clermont Aerodrome - Plus More!

Early on Wednesday 9 December, Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-MMC was noted once again visiting my local Clermont Aerodrome. VH-MMC is a fairly regular visitor to my local Clermont Aerodrome with it touching down every couple of weeks or so over the previous few months.

Once again, it appears that the passengers from VH-MMC then joined Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-NDC, which was earlier noted arriving direct from Rockhampton Airport as HND312. VH-NDC then departed as HND313 up to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site. It then returned to Rocky but as HND314.

Later in the day, VH-NDC returned to Clermont Aerodrome from Rockhampton Airport and Labona as HND330/331 before returning to Rockhampton Airport as HND3311. While VH-MMC departed Clermont Aerodrome and returned to its Sunshine Coast base.

Around the same time, also at Clermont Aerodrome, also on Wednesday 9 December, Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN touched down from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.  It is due to return to Wellcamp early on Thursday 10 December.

While noted visiting the Newlands Coal Mine site near Glenden early on Wednesday 9 December was Koolardie Aviation Aerospatiale AS.350BA Squirrel helicopter VH-EGI which visited from its Townsville base.

Meanwhile, another familiar pair of aircraft to visit the region, also on Wednesday 9 December were Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525A Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-ZIY and Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZSY.

VH-ZIY flew from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast and then Hamilton Island Airport before then returning to the Goldie and continuing to Sydney.  While VH-ZSY looked to visit Biloela / Thangool Airport from Archerfield.

Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation SAAB 340B VH-VEF Calls into Clermont Aerodrome

On Thursday 7 March, Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation SAAB 340B VH-VEF was noted visiting Clermont Aerodrome.  It appears to have arrived from Brisbane.

Sadly, as these aircraft can't be tracked, I didn't know it was in town!

It appears that VH-VEF departed Clermont Aerodrome during the afternoon for the Sunshine Coast before returning to Brisbane.

UPDATE!  It appears quite possibly, also on Thursday 7 March, that fellow Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEJ was also at Clermont Aerodrome.  VH-VEJ was certainly noted flying in and out of Clermont Aerodrome on Friday 8 March, completing a flight from the Sunshine Coast and to the Newlands Coal Mine near Glenden before heading to Brisbane.
