Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) Movements at Theodore Aerodrome - Cessna 208 Caravans and Twin Otter VH-ZKF

I noted with interest that on Thursday 16 June there were no less than three Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208 Caravan turbo-props - VH-LYT, VH-VCW and VH-LMZ - touching down in quick succession at Theodore Aerodrome on Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

Gold Coast-based Seair Pacific operates almost daily FIFO charter flights to Theodore from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, reportedly under contract by Australian gold company, Evolution Mining, for its workforce at the nearby Cracow Mine.

This week on Monday 13 June and again on Tuesday 14 June, these FIFO charter flights looked to also include Biloela / Thangool Airport in the daily rotation with VH-LYT on Monday and VH-VCW on Tuesday operating a return flight from and back to Theodore during the day.

Of interest, Seair's recently delivered De Havilland DHC-6-100 Twin Otter VH-ZKF was also spotted below operating one of FIFO charter flights to Theodore from Brisbane and Sunshine Coast on Thursday 2 June.

Seair also operates a weekly (Wednesday) FIFO charter flight to Wanella Station (near Coppabella) from the Fraser Coast - usually between Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) and Maryborough - along with their daily transfer and tourist flights to the picturesque Lady Eilliot Island also from the Fraser Coast and the South-East corner (Gold Coast, Brisbane and Redcliffe),
