Our contributing plane spotters based at Gladstone have sent through more fantastic photos of some commercial and general aviation visitors to Gladstone Airport from Thursday 14 June.
VH-FVU later taxied for departure allowing Jamie to take a close-up photo of recently applied 'Skywest Airlines' stickers on the rear of the port-side fuselage of the ATRs.
As VH-FVU was departing, Coastwings / Sutherland Aviation Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-WXC taxied for departure for Chinchilla.
Jamie caught an interesting looking ultralight aircraft in the form of RA-Aus registered Dova DV-1 Skylark 24-5123.
Finally, Jamie photographed Piper PA-31-325 Navajo VH-FHQ which is registered to Dalby-based Carmichael Builders.
One other Piper Navajo - this time a PA-31P-350/A2 - registered VH-IGW to Avtex Air Services in New South Wales, was spotted by Jamie the previous week on Thursday 7 June. It arrived from Bankstown and Inverell, and later departed to Archerfield and then Tamworth.
Thanks mate!
