Sunday Afternoon at Mackay Airport

Adam P - who has just returned from a fantastic overseas holiday - ventured out to Mackay Airport late on Sunday 10 June.  He was mostly interested in photographing a QantasLink Boeing B717-200 - and he was able to take a great photo of VH-NXM, which is a new registration for the Central Queensland region.

So far, CQ Airports have seen four of the Cobham Aviation-operated B717-200s since they started flying for QantasLink here in March - VH-NXM, VH-NXN, VH-NXO, and VH-NXQ.

QantasLink Dash-8-Q300 VH-TQZ was also spotted by Adam, as it prepared for departure to Rockhampton as QLK2307.

Adam also photographed a couple afternoon Virgin Australia departures from Mackay.  Embraer E-190 VH-ZPT is shown departing as DJ1474 to Sydney.

Boeing B737-700 VH-VBV is shown departing as DJ610 to Brisbane.

One other departure for Brisbane - albeit not a commercial aircraft - was Mooney M20R VH-OKC which is registered to a medical company in Brisbane.
