Local plane spotter, Michael F has sent through some more great photos of Emergency Management Queensland (EMQ) (State of Queensland) Bell 412 VH-ESD as it called into Gladstone Airport on Saturday 5 July.
VH-ESD arrived from Mackay and after taking on fuel, departed to Archerfield presumably for maintenance. Of interest, I've been advised that replacing VH-ESD at Townsville is Australian Helicopters-operated Bell 412 VH-LSY, which is 'operational spare' for the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue and CQ Rescue Helicopter Services.

Meanwhile, Michael also spotted Tully-based Cessna 172 VH-WTE calling into Gladstone.
And finally, Lake Awoonga-based Cessna 182 Seaplane VH-RBD, which is operated by Australia by Seaplane (Air Charter CQ), was captured by Michael as it overflew Gladstone Airport on a flight back to Lake Awoonga.
Thanks to Michael F for sending through his fantastic photos!
