Some Stunning Photos of Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS) / Australian Helicopters Bell 412s VH-EPR & VH-PXY at Rockhampton Airport

Yet more stunning images from Rockhampton Airport have been shared by local plane spotter Phil M, this time he paid a visit to the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS) hangar on the Eastern side of Rockhampton Airport (on Canoona Road).

The resident CHRS Bell 412EP VH-EPR - which is operated by Australian Helicopters - was sitting on the apron outside the hangar after reportedly receiving some minor maintenance.  Replacing VH-EPR for the short term was fellow Australian Helicopters Bell 412EP VH-PXY.

VH-PXY operated various med-evac missions out of Rocky using its 'usual' callsign of "Rescue 920".  As shown below, I also spotted VH-PXY in Mackay while it made a visit there as well.

Over the last few days, VH-EPR emerged from the CHRS hangar and VH-PXY was flown on the apron outside the hangar.  VH-PXY is now inside the hangar also receiving some attention.

Some absolutely stunning photos captured by Phil of these lovely helicopters and we thank him sincerely for allowing us to share them with you all! Thanks mate!
