Reports suggest that Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-211 was conducting low-level operations between Gladstone and Gayndah on Friday 25 July.

Unfortunately, no one was able to actually sight the Globemaster in the sky over CQ, however it was heard on local radio frequencies for around half-an-hour during the morning using the callsign "Stallion 63".
