A surprise but welcome arrival into Rockhampton Airport on Saturday 6 June was Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-FKG which touched down from Brisbane as UTY560.
VH-FKG was operating what looked to be a closed charter as a group of passengers and bags were loaded before it departed further North to Cairns again as UTY560.
Also visiting Rockhampton Airport on Saturday morning was Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-YIB which was captured departing to Brisbane as VOZ1238.
Also visiting, and shown in the photo at the top of this post, was QantasLink Dash-8-Q400 Next Gen VH-LQM which operated the morning QLK2356/2365 service from and back to Brisbane.
Finally, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 Super King Air A32-671 was captured as it completed airwork in the Rockhampton Airport circuit area.
It completed a couple of missed approaches onto Runway 15 before departing to the South. A32-671 - flying as "Dingo 07" - had earlier conducted airwork at Mackay Airport.
Thanks to local plane spotter 'IAD' for capturing these great photos and for taking the time to send them through!
