After spending a couple of hours on the ground, VH-SGA departed Mackay Airport and returned to Essendon.
Also spotted visiting Mackay Airport also on Thursday 4 October was Chinchilla-based Raytheon 58 Baron VH-EZR. It arrived from Chinchilla via Gladstone Airport.
After a couple of hours on the ground, VH-EZR returned to Gladstone Airport where it looked to be staying for the night.
UPDATE! VH-EZR returned to Chinchilla early on Friday 5 October.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday 3 October, LifeFlight (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI "Ambulance 451" was noted visiting Mackay Airport. It arrived from Brisbane and soon after departed to Townsville.
While another familiar bizjet in the form of the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU was noted visiting Mackay Airport also on Wednesday 3 October while on a busy day of flying. It also looked to visit Townsville and Rockhampton Airports while flying out of and back to Brisbane.
Finally, its worth mentioning that up at Hamilton Island Airport, on Thursday 4 October, Revesco Aviation (of Western Australia) Cessna 550 Citation Bravo bizjet VH-ZLT was noted arriving from Ayers Rock. While on Wednesday 3 October, Brisbane-based Cessna 525A CitationJet2 bizjet VH-MOR was finally noted departing for Archerfield after arriving from there via Rockhampton Airport last Monday 24 September.
