Gladstone Airport Spottings This Week

It was a pretty quiet week at Gladstone Airport, however there have still been a few interesting visitors of interest.  On Tuesday 1 May it was pretty quiet with local Cessna 150B VH-RWM a notable visitor.

On Wednesday 2 May, Embraer EMB-500 Phenom bizjet VH-PNM of GoJet in New South Wales made its second visit for the year, arriving early in the morning from Melbourne (Essendon).  It later departed for Mackay Airport, before returning to Essendon later that evening.

Also on Wednesday, Piper PA-31 VH-PJU was noted.  The Navajo wears a very attractive corporate livery and is a regular visit to Central Queensland.  It also popped into Gladstone on Thursday 3 May.

General Aviation Maintenance (GAM) AeroCommander 500-S VH-UJI was also noted.  It spent most of the week flying between Gladstone and Rockhampton and Thangool to Brisbane.

Lastly, on Thursday 3 May, another Piper in the form of PA-46R-350T Malibu VH-UPY was noted.  It is registered to Maroochy Air on the Sunshine Coast.  VH-UPY is also becoming a frequent visitor to the region.

Lastly, Reid Heliwork Robinson R-44 VH-HIB was also noted.

A pretty good week!
