On Thursday 3 August, Kefford Corporation (of Victoria) Gulfstream G-IV-SP bizjet N810LP was photographed shortly after arriving into Longreach Airport from its Melbourne (Essendon) base. It had earlier flown to Essendon from Sydney.
After parking on the old Longreach Airport parking apron, adjacent to the Qantas Founders Museum, N810LP returned to Essendon in the early evening.
Meanwhile, also noted visiting Longreach Airport on Thursday 3 August was Toowoomba-based Austrek Aviation Cessna 310R VH-DZU which arrived from Charleville and departed to Emerald, while SFC Farming Raytheon B200 King Air VH-TXT visited from Roma Airport.
Finally, a nice corporate helicopter was spotted on the ground at Longreach Airport late on Monday 31 July in the form of Gulf Aircraft Agusta AW119 MKII VH-PYO.
Sadly, its exact movements are not fully known.
Of interest, Gatton (Qld) based Gulf Aircraft also operates Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-PYN which is a frequent visitor to CQ.
Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Calen H for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
