A Couple of Other Bizjets Around CQ Airports This Week

It's been another busy week for corporate bizjet movements around CQ - as highlighted with a couple of arrivals into Rockhampton Airport as posted below.  Here is a quick summary of some of the other bizjet comings and goings around various CQ Airports this week.

On Friday 18 August, Cirrus (Australia) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SQY arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from its Wagga Wagga base via Bankstown.  Also visiting Hamo on Friday was Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO.  It arrived from and later departed back to its Bankstown base.

UPDATE!  VH-WIO completed another return flight from Bankstown into Hamilton Island Airport and back on Saturday 19 August.

Also visiting Hamo this week was Brenzil Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet VH-CRW which popped in from Brisbane on Tuesday 15 August, while Shortstop Jet Charter Dassault Falcon 900C bizjet VH-OAA departed to Melbourne (Essendon) also on Tuesday after arriving from there two days prior.

Elsewhere, on Thursday 17 August, both Queensland Government (State of Queensland) aircraft - Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY and Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ - were noted flying around CQ.

I saw VH-SGY arriving into Clermont Aerodrome from Brisbane.  It soon after departed to Moranbah Airport before later flying into Townsville.  It returned to Brisbane on Friday 18 August.  While VH-SGQ flew into Mackay Airport from Brisbane.

UPDATE!  It seems that VH-SGQ is basing itself at Mackay Airport with it noted completing return flights to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) and Charters Towers Airports from and back to Mackay over the weekend.

Also on Thursday 17 August, Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 N142GZ departed its Mackay Airport base for Brisbane.

Finally both LifeFlight (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjets VH-VVI "Ambulance 451" and VH-CXJ "Ambulance 452" have completed various med-evac flights into different parts of CQ this week.  On Thursday 17 August, VH-VVI completed a med-evac flight into Charleville Airport flying from and back to Brisbane.  It was also noted completing a med-evac flight into Rockhampton Airport in the wee small hours of Monday 14 August, also arriving from and departing back to Brisbane.

While VH-CXJ flew into Bundaberg Airport from Brisbane and later departed to Townsville on Tuesday 15 August.  It also popped into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport briefly on Monday 14 August, arriving from and later departing back to Townsville.
