An interesting visitor into Gladstone Airport with American-registered Aerospatiale SA330F Puma helicopter N366EV calling in for a very short time on Saturday 26 August.
The chopper comes up as being owned by Helifleet (USA) but appears to be contracted to the United States Navy (US Navy) / United States Naval Aviation. Specifically a S.N.I.A.S SA330J Puma helicopter, N366EV has been seen operating in recent time from the USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE-6 ) - a Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship.
N366EV was on the ground for a very short time and was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Puma 3".
Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Michael F for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
