Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-002 Pops into Rockhampton Airport

The first visit by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in 2018 was to Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday 9 January with RAAF Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-002 popping into Rockhampton Airport.  It touched down from RAAF Base Amberley.

After completing a crew change, A39-002 departed Rocky and returned to Amberley.  It was noted flying as “Dragon 12”.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Kayanne H who captured these photos from her front yard as the KC-30 departed.
