Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail A30-002 Missed Approach at Hamilton Island Airport

On Wednesday 20 February, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft - A30-002 - was noted completing a missed approach at Hamilton Island Airport.

A30-002 was flying as "Wedgetail 15" and looked to fly up from the South to Hamo where it then completed its airwork.  A30-002 then flew back South and was later noted completing another missed approach at the Sunshine Coast before heading to RAAF Base Williamtown.
