More Corporate Bizjets and Turboprops Pop into the Whitsundays Airports - Citation VH-WMY Spotted at Shute Harbour and Phenom 300E VH-UYX at Hamilton Island

There were more corporate bizjet and turboprop aircraft movements around CQ Airports and particularly the Whitsundays on Thursday 8 August.

Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY was spotted visiting the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.

It had a busy day of flying, originally departing its Melbourne (Moorabbin) base for Melbourne (Essendon), Ballarat, Yarrawonga and Archerfield.  VH-WMY was due to call into Hamilton Island Airport but diverted to the Whitsunday Airport.  It then flew back directly to Moorabbin.

Meanwhile, up at Hamilton Island Airport, also on Thursday 8 August, Special Mining Services / Flight Options (Australia) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300E bizjet VH-UYX was noted arriving from its Bankstown base.  It appears to be staying for at least the night.

While back on the mainland, Wagga Air Centre (Mabena) SOCATA TBM-850 VH-PVM arrived into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from its Wagga Wagga base via Tumut and Roma Airport.  VH-PVM then departed Prosie and returned direct to Wagga Wagga.

Of interest, the visiting Singapore-based American-registered Gulfstream Aerospace G-V bizjet N881HS remains parked at Proserpine Airport after arriving on Sunday 4 August - see Blog post below.

Finally, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ has returned to the air this week after a period of planned maintenance.  On Thursday 8 August, it completed airwork and then landed briefly at Bundaberg Airport while on a flight from and back to Brisbane.

It did the same on Tuesday 6 August.
