It appears that the Wedgetail flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown at Newcastle via a missed approach also at the Coffs Harbour.

A30-003 then returned to Williamtown from Rocky via a missed approach at Tamworth.

A30-003 was noted to be using the radio callsign of "Wedgetail 04".

Meanwhile, it appears that on Thursday 1 August, RAAF Beech B350 Super King Air A32-021 was noted completing a missed approach at Longreach Airport while flying from the Sunshine Coast to Cairns.  It also possibly completed a missed approach at Charleville Airport on Wednesday 31 July while flying up from RAAF Base East Sale to the Sunny Coast.  For all flights, A32-021 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Hudson 07".
