Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X Bizjet A56-003 First Visit to CQ at Bundaberg Airport

Early on Friday 18 October, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet A56-003 was spotted arriving into Bundaberg Airport as "Regent 08" from Canberra.

The sleek Falcon 7X was photographed above and below by local plane spotter Dan B of Dan Beck Photography as it arrived into the Rum City.  It parked for a short time and then took off on a local flight, completing several approaches at Bundaberg Airport before landing once again.

A56-003 later departed to Wagga Wagga and Canberra again as "Regent 08".

Of interest A56-003 is the third of three leased Dassault Falcon 7X bizjets acquired to replace the three Canadair Challenger 604 bizjets previously operated by 34 Squadron.  A56-003 arrived in Canberra from overseas in early August and joins A56-001 and A56-002 which have been in Australia since for some time.

Meanwhile, all three Challenger 604 bizjets - A37-001, A37-002 and A37-003 - are now in the United States of America and have been placed on the Australian aircraft register as VH-OFA, VH-OFB and VH-OFC respectively.

Sincere thanks to Dan B from Dan Beck Photography for allowing us to share these great photos!
