Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Hawker Beechcraft B200 VH-FDM "FlyDoc 478" Flys into Rockhampton Airport in New Colours!

A nice arrival into Rockhampton Airport this week on Thursday 3 October was the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Hawker Beechcraft B200 VH-FDM "FlyDoc 478" which made its first visit (back) into Central Queensland since it was re-painted into the new RFDS livery.  It arrived into Rocky from Brisbane where it only just returned from the Flinders Aviation paint-shop at Redcliffe.

VH-FDM is the first of the 'older' Queensland-based RFDS King Air and Super King Air turboprops to be re-painted into the new RFDS blue and red livery.  Of interest, the RFDS recently took delivery of four new production Raytheon B200 King Air turboprops via Cairns in recent months all in this new livery.  They are registered VH-VJW, VH-VJX, VH-VJY and VH-VJZ.

Of interest, VH-FDM seems to be based out of Rockhampton Airport, with it completing medical evacuation flights from various locations around CQ over the last couple of days.

We await to see a photo of it in CQ!
