Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) (Cobham SAR Services Pty Ltd) Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-XNC Overnight Visit to Rockhampton Airport

Very late on Sunday 23 August, Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) (Cobham SAR Services Pty Ltd) Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-XNC was noted calling into Rockhampton Airport.

VH-XNC was noted flying as "Rescue 440" and looked to be involved coordinating a search and rescue in the Biloela / Moura area and flew down from its Cairns Airport base.

After taking on fuel at Rockhampton Airport, VH-XNC "Rescue 440" returned to Cairns.
