'New' LifeFlight Agusta Westland AW139 Helicopter VH-XIA Calls into Gladstone Airport

A surprise arrival into Gladstone Airport on Friday 21 August was LifeFlight Agusta Westland AW139 helicopter VH-XIA.  It appears to have flown in from Archerfield and Chinchilla before it then later departed to Toowoomba.

VH-XIA seems to be the 'newest' rescue helicopter to join the LifeFlight fleet with the AW139 registered to them in May this year.  It previously operated as a Search and Rescue helicopter in the united Kingdom as G-CILP with Her Majesty's Coastguard.
