Cessna Citation Bizjets - VH-ACC and VH-MMC - Call into CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Tuesday 18 August, a couple of Cessna Citation bizjets were noted calling into Central Queensland Airports including Australian Country Choice Properties (Brisbane) Cessna 560 Citation V Encore VH-ACC which looked to pop into Rockhampton Airport from its Archerfield base.

After a short time on the ground, it then continued to Barkly Downs (BKP/YBAW) out West of Mount Isa.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 20 August, VH-ACC returned to Rockhampton Airport from Barkly Down, Gregory Downs and Mount Isa before then departing to Archerfield.

Also on Tuesday 18 August, the familiar sight of Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra VH-MMC was back once again at Emerald Airport.  It arrived from and later departed back to its Sunshine Coast base.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 20 August, flew back into Emerald Airport from the Sunshine Coast.

UPDATE!  On Friday 21 August, VH-MMC flew from Emerald Airport to my local Clermont Aerodrome before then departing to the Sunshine Coast - see Blog post above!

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 18 August, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.  It later departed to Brisbane.

As mentioned below, VH-SGY at arrived into Prosie from Brisbane the previous day.

While also popping into Rockhampton Airport, also on Tuesday 18 August, were a nice pair of helicopters in the form of McDermott Aviation / Heli-Lift Australia Bell 214B-1 Big Lifter N281JL which arrived from the South and departed to Mackay Airport and further ports North.  And Bell 407 VH-CMI was noted arriving from its home at the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour before departing to ports South to Noosa.

UPDATE!  It appears that N281JL returned South from Cairns via Rockhampton Airport to the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday 19 August.

UPDATE!  It appears that VH-CMI returned home to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from Noosa via Bundaberg and Rockhampton Airports on Friday 21 August.

Finally, also on Tuesday 18 August, Great Western Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-XGV visited my local Clermont Aerodrome from Brisbane.
