On Tuesday 13 October, and with the Queensland State Election campaign in full swing, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY was noted visiting both Maryborough and Gladstone Airports as Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk hit the hustings in Central Queensland.

VH-SGY arrived into Maryborough Airport from Brisbane before later heading up to Gladstone Airport where it appears to be spending at least the night.
Meanwhile, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ was also in the region, also on Tuesday 13 October, with it noted departing Brisbane and visiting Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) and Bundaberg Airports before returning to the capital later in the day.
