Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-002 Spotted Completing a Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport as “Dragon 43”

On Thursday 15 October, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-002 was photographed as it climbed out after completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport. It was flying as "Dragon 43".

The MRTT had earlier departed RAAF Base Amberley and flew up to Townsville and then Cairns before it then flew down to Rocky where it completed the airwork. A39-002 then flew back South and returned to Amberley.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Steve V for allowing us to share these great photos!
