Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan Aircraft Swap at Rockhampton Airport - VH-MRZ in - VH-LZK out - Plus More!

Hinterland Aviation has once again completed a 'swap' of their Cessna 208 Caravans which are based at Rockhampton Airport.

On Sunday 6 June, Cessna 208 Caravan VH-MRZ arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns as 'HND663' / "Hinterland 663".  Later, fellow Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LZK was noted returning to Cairns also as 'HND663'.

Meanwhile, also on Sunday 6 June, Brisbane-based Pesca Aviation AeroCommander 690-A Turbo Commander VH-ATF was noted arriving into Barcaldine Airport from Archerfield.  It then departed to Sweers Island.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 10 June, VH-ATF returned to Archerfield from Sweers Island, again via Barcaldine Airport.

Finally, also on Sunday 6 June, Wagga Air Centre (Mabena) SOCATA TBM-850 VH-PVM as "Wagga Air 669" flew down from the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour to Roma Airport before heading home to Wagga Wagga in New South Wales.  It appears to have been on a Far North Queensland charter and passed through Longreach Airport heading North in late May.

And also continuing its Far North Queensland charter was Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SYO which arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from Weipa and Horn Island as 'SFZ608' / "Skyforce 608" also on Sunday 6 June.   It had also passed through Longreach Airport also heading North but at the start of this previous week.

UPDATE!  VH-SYO departed Hamo for Brisbane and Sydney on Monday 7 June, looking to conclude this latest charter flight.  VH-SYO then made the short hop back to Pionair's Bankstown base.
