Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-207 Completes Missed Approaches at CQ Airports Last Night

Very late on Wednesday 23 June, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-207 was noted completing airwork including several missed approaches at some Central Queensland Airports.

It departed from RAAF Base Amberley and flew up to the Sunshine Coast Airport where it first completed airwork before then flying up to Mackay Airport where it completed a missed approach.  A41-207 was then videoed below completing a missed approach at Emerald Airport.

A41-207 then looked to return to RAAF Base Amberley.

A41-207 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Stallion 05".
