While Townsville Airlines Beech 1900D VH-RUE visited Hamilton Island Airport from Cairns.
Meanwhile, also on Saturday 2 July, former(?) Gold Coast-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PLE flew up from the Sunshine Coast to Hamilton Island Airport before then flying directly down to Launceston. VH-PLE flew up to the Sunny Coast from Melbourne (Moorabbin) the previous day and it appears that the Pilatus is now based in Melbourne.
Finally, also on Saturday 2 July, Capital Jet Charter (Canberra) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-STE flew up from Canberra to Taroom Aerodrome but due to weather diverted to Miles Airport. It then flew to Roma Airport to meet company aircraft (quoted) new Capital Jet Charter Cessna 525B CitationJet CJ3 bizjet VH-TCS which flew up from Canberra. VH-TCS then returned to Canberra and VH-STE flew back to Miles Airport and then back to Canberra.
