Around the World American Registered Diamond DA42 Twin Star N430PS Arrives into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour - Plus More!

On Tuesday 14 February, American-registered Diamond DA42 Twin Star N430PS, which seems to be on an 'around the world' trip, flew into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from Archerfield.  


It looked to have arrived into Australia from overseas at the end of January and looked to have visited several locations including flying up from Tasmania to Bankstown and Archerfield in the days before arriving into the Whitsundays.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 16 February, N430PS was photographed (above) shortly before it departed the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour for the Gold Coast.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 20 February, N430PS departed the Gold Coast for New Zealand and the continuation of its around the world trip.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 14 February, Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-XDW visited my local Clermont Aerodrome from its Toowoomba-Wellcamp base.

Fellow Brescon Beech B200 King Air VH-WXB flew up from Wellcamp to Yellow Bank and Rolleston Aerodromes before then flying down to the Sunshine Coast and back to Wellcamp. 

Southern Airlines Beech B200 King Air VH-AMF was noted doing the weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight up to Moranbah Airport. It flew up from Latrobe Valley and Bourke to Moranbah Airport before then heading back to Latrobe Valley direct and then Melbourne (Moorabbin).

DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ completed its weekly FIFO run from Bundaberg Airport to Nebo Aerodrome and back but this time via Rockhampton Airport.

While Private (New South Wales) Raytheon B200 King Air VH-MHV flew into Rockhampton Airport from Scone.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 15 February, VH-MHV departed Rockhampton Airport for Brisbane and Canberra and back to Scone.

And Bunderra Cattle Co Piper PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage VH-KNV departed Rockhampton Airport for Boulia and Barrow Creek before returning direct to Rockhampton Airport.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 15 February, VH-KNV departed Rockhampton Airport for Mackay Airport where it appears to have stayed.

Finally, also on Tuesday 14 February, Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-CVN flew down from Townsville to Mackay Airport before then flying across to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It then returned to Mackay Airport and then back to Townsville all as HND290/1/2/3.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 15 February, VH-CVN returned to Mackay Airport from Townsville and Labona before then returning to Labona and back to Townsville as HND280/1/2/3.

And fellow Hinterland Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-HJS as HND626 visited the Labona Station Airstrip from Cairns.
