Two RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetails A30-001 & A30-004 Complete Airwork at Some CQ Airports

On Thursday 14 September, a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft were noted completing airwork at some Central Queensland Airports during three separate visits.

Wedgetail A30-001 as "Mitchel 10" flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.  It then flew back to Williamtown.

While Wedgetail A30-004 as "Wedgetail 07" flew up from Williamtown to RAAF Base Amberley and then up to complete a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport before then returning to Williamtown.

Later, A30-004 returned to the region, flying up from Williamtown to complete a missed approach at Hamilton Island Airport and then back to Williamtown but as "Wedgetail 15".
