Wednesday 29 November, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-003 as "Wedgetail 44" flew down from Townsville to complete airwork including a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport and then Mackay Airport before returning to Townsville via more airwork at Cairns.

A30-003 approaches Townsville recently |
Earlier a flight of three Boeing C-17A Globemaster III transport aircraft as "Charger" flew up from RAAF Base Amberley to Townsville and then back to Amberley - including some low level flying around Finch Hatton and the Mackay Hinterland. They were identified as Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-211 and United States Air Force (USAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III's 05-5147 and 05-5149.
While Australian Army marked (Helicorp) Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopters (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-YBG as "Warhorse 207" was noted flying around the Whitsunday Islands while on a flight out of back to Townsville.
And later still, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-006 as "Kaos 18" completed airwork at Wondai while on a flight out of and back to Amberley.
