RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) Aircraft A30-005 "Wedgetail 13" Spotted at Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 17 September, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-005 was spotted completing airwork at Rockhampton Airport.




Completing yet another visit into CQ, A30-005 was this time heard to be flying as "Wedgetail 13" and flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete several missed approaches at Rockhampton Airport before it then returned South to complete more airwork at Coffs Harbour and then back to Williamtown.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 17 September, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-213 as "Stallion 57" flew up low level no-com from RAAF Base Amberley to Bundaberg Airport where it completed a few approaches before then climbing and returning to Amberley.
