A Pair of RAAF Super King Air Turboprops A32-003 & A32-021 Both Complete Airwork & Land at CQ Airports - Plus More! - UPDATED!

Over the course of a week or so, a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 Super King Air turboprops were noted completing airwork and landing at some Central Queensland Airports.

On Thursday 2 October, Super King Air A32-003 as "Torch 42" was noted landing at Mackay Airport from Townsville via airwork to the North East of the Whitsundays region.  It later returned to Townsville.

UPDATE!  A32-003 "Torch 42" was photographed above at Cairns on Saturday 4 October.

Of interest, it appears A32-003 flew up to Townsville on Tuesday 30 September from RAAF Base East Sale via Charleville Airport as "Hudson 42".

The second Super King Air appears to be A32-021 flying as "Torch 02" and it too arrived into Townsville also on Tuesday 30 September, also flying up from East Sale via Charleville Airport.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 4 October, A32-021 "Torch 02" visited Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from Townsville.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 9 October, both Super King Air turboprops completed their deployment to Townsville and returned to East Sale via Tamworth in New South Wales.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 2 October, Airborne P/L (Palm Lake Works) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-VLQ visited the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from the Gold Coast via Bundaberg Airport.

UPDATE!  On Friday 3 October - and again on Monday 6 October - VH-VLQ visited Hamilton Island Airport from the Gold Coast.
