Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-EZD arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from its Monto Aerodrome base.

While Spectrum Air Hire (of Sydney) Beech 76 Duchess VH-IPH flew across from Hamilton Island Airport to Proserpine Airport before returning to Hamo.  It seems to have arrived there from Bankstown, Warwick and Bundaberg Airports just over a week ago.

And BPW Aviation / Airspeed Aviation of Scone, New South Wales, Cessna 404 Titan VH-SKV was noted arriving into Mackay Airport from Tamworth.  It later departed for Archerfield and then back to Tamworth.

Finally, also on Wednesday 26 January, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQF departed Rockhampton Airport for Mackay Airport as SKP785 before it then completed three return flights from Mackay Airport to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site and back as SKP793/4/1/2/5/6.

At the time of writing, it is due fly from Mackay Airport to Brisbane as SKP786 early on Thursday 27 January.

And it appears that fellow Skytrans Dash-8-100 VH-QQC flew down from Cairns to Rockhampton Airport as SKP775 before then flying to Labona as SKP777 and then back to Cairns as SKP778.

Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) SAAB 340B VH-VEP Pops into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 7 September, Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) SAAB 340B VH-VEP was spotted arriving into Rockhampton Airport.  It touched down from Brisbane and continues the run of Link Airways SAABs or Metros visiting Rockhampton Airport each Tuesday and Wednesday (usually) on what appears to be a new series of Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) closed charter flights

VH-VEP later returned to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 7 September, West Coast Seaplanes (Broome, Western Australia) Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ, which currently appears to be based at Bundaberg Airport, flew up once again from there to Nebo Aerodrome before it then flew down to Rockhampton Airport and back to Bundy.

Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-EZD visited Rockhampton Airport from its Monto Aerodrome base.

Beech 58 Baron VH-CUY landed at Emerald Airport from Charters Towers Aerodrome before then departing to Toowoomba.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 8 September, VH-CUY called back into Emerald Airport from Toowoomba and Dalby before it continued back up to Charters Towers Aerodrome.

And Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-KXM was noted visiting both Emerald and Rockhampton Airports during a busy day of flying that started at Mareeba and then Vanrook Station and ended at the Sunshine Coast.

Finally, also on Tuesday 7 September, Emerald-based Central Highlands Aerial Services (CHAS) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LMZ flew all the way from Emerald to Adelaide via Broken Hill before then returning direct to Emerald.

It was spotted above arriving into Adelaide Airport.

VH-LMZ was also recently spotted operating out of Jandakot Airport in Western Australia and was noted with an aerial survey antenna boom attached to the rear of the plane.

Photos of RAAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III Transport Aircraft A41-212 "Stallion 30" and Other Aircraft Overhead Central Queensland Commemorations on ANZAC Day

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) aircraft were spotted completing spectacular fly-overs throughout several different parts of Central Queensland during local commemorations on Sunday 25 April - ANZAC Day.

RAAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-212 "Stallion 30" was photographed as it passed overhead Bundaberg commemorations before it then completed spectacular low passes over commemorations in other towns including Gladstone.

It is believed that RAAF Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet A44-203 "Cannon 12" completed a spectacular fly-by over parts of the Fraser Coast including Fraser Island before heading inland to Calliope and Monto.

Of interest, A44-203 joined fellow Super Hornet (or "Rhino") A44-218 "Cannon 11" in overflying the Brisbane Anzac Day parade and commemorations (as pictured), and they also both featured on the state-wide television coverage.

Meanwhile, another Super Hornet A44-201 "Buckshot" was earlier noted completing fly-overs of towns around the Queensland / New South Wales border before it then flew South into Northern New South Wales.

All three Super Hornets are flown by Number 1 Squadron also based at Amberley.

Sadly, for commemorations in the North, the planned fly-over of a RAAF Alenia C-27J Spartan didn't occur with A34-007 "Wallaby 56" suffering a technical problem and not being able to depart Cairns (where it had arrived the previous day).

The Spartan is shown at Cairns as it prepared to depart but it is believed that a short-time later, it taxied back to its parking position and shut its engines down.

Of interest, the C-27J Spartan battlefield airlifter is currently flown by Number 35 Squadron also based at Amberley.

Finally, it's worth sharing some non-RAAF local fly-over photos and information also on Sunday 25 April - ANZAC Day.  In the Fraser Coast region, Caboolture-based Commonwealth CA-16 Wirraway Mk3 VH-MFW was photographed also completing several fly-overs of commemorations at Bundaberg.

At the Airlie Beach commemoration, Helibiz Australia operated Bell UH-1H Iroquois 'Huey' helicopter VH-UHE 'Eagle One' and Whitsunday Tiger Moth Adventures DH-82A Tiger Moth VH-BOJ completed two passes over the local parade and commemorations.

And the Mackay Tiger Moth Museum De Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth VH-IVN looked to fly over the local Mackay commemoration.

Sincere thanks to to all the local plane spotters for capturing these stunning photos and for allowing us to share them with you all!
