A Photo Update on Construction of New RFDS Facilities at Rockhampton Airport

After a period of time of inactivity, the 'vacant' blocks of land beside the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) offices and hangar on the General Aviation (GA) side of Rockhampton Airport are finally seeing some action.

With a rather large fence erected in August, equipment and materials were stored in the block, and in more recent times, construction on what a new patient transfer facility is progressing well.

There were initial reports that a new hangar was to be constructed as well.  I guess we shall see what happens over time!
