Also Touching Down at Gladstone Airport Monday - Alliance Fokker 70 VH-JFB and Fokker 100 VH-FKJ for QantasLink

As well as the historic JetGo Australia RPT services commencing into the industrial city, there were a couple of other interesting jet movements noted at Gladstone Airport on Monday 1 December.  Alliance Airlines Fokker jets have been operating flights for QantasLink over the last week or so and, on Monday, a pair of Fokkers operated into Gladstone Airport (and Emerald Airport).

Fokker F-70 VH-JFB touched down at Gladstone from Brisbane in the morning as UTY2666 before returning to the capital as UTY2667.  VH-JFB then operated as UTY2664/2405 to Emerald and back to Brisbane.  Later at Gladstone, Fokker F-100 VH-FKJ then flew as UTY2668/2669 again from and back to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, spotted on the ground at Emerald Airport on Saturday 29 November was MKR Choppers (of Mudgee in New South Wales) Bell 212 helicopter VH-NPO.

VH-NPO appeared to be ferrying North as (at the time of writing) is scheduled to fly North from Cairns to Coen in Far North Queensland.
