A busy couple of days for bizjet movements in the Whitsundays was capped off late on Saturday 6 December by the brief visit to Hamilton Island Airport by Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-001.

A36-001 was earlier noted flying as "Envoy 77" and may have performed a missed approach at Hamo while flying to the South.

Meanwhile, a couple of other bizjet movements in and out of Hamilton Island Airport were noted during the latter part of this week.  Jet City Cessna 750 Citation X bizjet VH-XCJ departed Hamo for Melbourne (Essendon) on Thursday 4 December.  It had arrived on Tuesday 2 December - see Blog post below.  Also on Thursday 4 December, Edwards Coaches' Cessna 650 Citation VII bizjet VH-LYM made another visit, arriving from and departing back to Sydney. And Marcplan Charter Embraer EMB-135BJ Legacy bizjet VH-VLT was noted departing Hamo and flying South on Thursday 4 December as well.  A busy day!

Finally, back on the mainland at Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY called in briefly on Friday 5 December.  It arrived from Brisbane and later departed North to Townsville.
