Cessna 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-KXM at Longreach Airport - Plus More Air Link Piper Navajos!

On Wednesday 10 March, Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang VH-KXM once again ventured North from Bankstown Airport to Vanrook Station near Normanton, stopping in for fuel at Longreach Airport.

UPDATE!  Presumably due to the rather inclement weather passing over the Northern part of Queensland and in particular, the Gulf Country, VH-KXM was noted 'diverting' from its planned destination of Normanton to Vanrook Station and then Karumba where it eventually landed.  On Thursday 11 March, VH-KXM was noted flying between Normanton and Mareeba before eventually returning to Karumba.

Also calling into Longreach Airport this week for fuel were a pair of Air Link (Dubbo) Piper PA-31 Navajos.  VH-DVR called into Longreach on Tuesday 8 March while ferrying North from Dubbo to Normanton, while on Wednesday 9 March VH-MZF ferried South from Normanton to Longreach and onward to Charleville and Dubbo.

For a little while now, Air Link has been operating regular flights from Normanton to Mornington Island in Far North Queensland.
