Formula Aircraft (WA) Beech B200 King Air VH-NTE Calls into Gladstone Airport Friday

A much quieter day at Gladstone Airport on Friday 4 March with one interesting visitor in the form of Beech B200 King Air VH-NTE which is registered to Formula Aircraft in Western Australia but appears to now be operating out of Archerfield Airport in Brisbane.

Indeed on this occasion, VH-NTE arrived from and later departed back to Archerfield.

I personally remember that back in the early 2000s VH-NTE was one of a handful King Airs that operated medical retrieval and other flights by Aero Pearl for the Northern Territory Aerial Medical Service (Northern Territory Government).

Meanwhile, another interesting aircraft that has been noted operating aerial survey flights out of Gladstone over the last week has been Australasian Jet Cessna 404 Titan VH-WGS.

The Titan is one of many survey aircraft that were previously operated by Fugro Spatial Solutions and were transferred over to operations with Australasian Jet.

I noted on a couple of occasions prior to its appearance at Gladstone Airport that VH-WGS and these other aircraft had been repainted into Australasian Jet colours featuring 'Ausjet' titles.
