Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Pilatus PC-12/45 VH-FDC Does a Missed Approach at Gladstone Airport Wednesday

Noted conducting a practice ILS approach followed by overshoot at Gladstone Airport mid-morning on Wednesday 2 March was Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Pilatus PC-12/45 VH-FDC.  The PC-12 appeared to fly to Gladstone from its Charleville base before it flew onward to Roma Airport.

After appearing to be on the ground at Roma for a short time, VH-FDC returned to Charleville.  VH-FDC was noted using the radio callsign "FlyDoc 426".

Meanwhile, another Charleville-based RFDS PC-12 VH-FDP "FlyDoc 434" was noted visiting Longreach Airport from Charleville on Saturday 27 February.  It departed to Brisbane.
