RAAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-213 "Stallion 74” Back at Rockhampton Airport on Sunday

The rare weekend visit into Central Queensland by a military aircraft we posted about yesterday got better on Sunday 28 October when Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III transport aircraft A41-213 was spotted returning to Rockhampton Airport.  Local plane spotter Kayanne H was at the right place at the right time to photograph the Globemaster it was on short finals to Rocky's Runway 33.

It appears that it flew down from Townsville and landed at Rockhampton Airport for a short time.

A41-213 then departed towards the Sunshine Coast where it completed more airwork before heading to RAAF Base Amberley.  A41-213 was again heard to be using the radio callsign of "Stallion 74".
