Rounding off the action amongst the bigger aircraft on Friday 26 July was the visit by Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-004 which touched down at Rockhampton Airport from Sydney.

After loading a full flight of personnel and their bags, A39-004 departed Rockhampton Airport for Melbourne (Tullamarine).

A39-004 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Dragon 34".

Reports coming from Rockhampton Airport around the time these posts have been written suggest that the action on Friday 26 July will be bettered on Saturday 27 July with Qantas Airways Boeing B747-400 and B737-800 charter flights expected, plus more large RAAF transport aircraft due to call in!

UPDATE!  On Saturday 27 July, RAAF Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-005 as "Dragon 35" visited Rockhampton Airport.  It arrived from Amberley and later departed to Melbourne (Tullamarine).
