Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing P-8A Poseidon Maritime Surveillance Aircraft A47-002 Completes Airwork in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA)

On Saturday 20 July - and also on Friday 19 July - Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing P-8A Poseidon Maritime Surveillance Aircraft A47-002 was noted completing airwork within the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) as a part of joint Military Exercise Talisman Sabre 2019 (TS19).

A47-002 was noted flying as "Blackcat 01" - on both days - and looked to fly up from and then back to the South, possibly towards RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle.

Meanwhile, also noted flying into Williamson Airfield within the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA), also on Saturday 20 July, was RAAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-211 "Stallion 26".  It looked to fly up from and then back to RAAF Base Amberley.
