The Visiting Overseas Bizjets - G-VI VP-CJR & Global Express N915JG - Depart Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

Over the last couple of days, both visiting overseas registered corporate bizjets - and more - were noted departing Hamilton Island Airport.

On Friday 12 July, ExecuJet Asia Gulfstream Aerospace G-VI Gulfstream G650 VP-CJR was noted departing Hamo for Canberra.

It had arrived into Hamo from Brisbane on Monday 8 July.

Then on Saturday 13 July, seemingly Australian-based but American-registered Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express bizjet N915JG was noted departing Hamilton Island Airport for Melbourne (Essendon).  

It arrived from there on Thursday 11 July.

Meanwhile, also noted departing Hamo, also on Friday 12 July, was Corporate Aviation Bell 429 Global Ranger helicopter VH-EQP.  It returned to Southport via Gladstone Airport.  It arrived from there on Sunday 7 July.

Finally, on Saturday 13 July, the familiar sight of Homada Pty Ltd Cessna 560XL Citation XLS bizjet VH-XCU was back at Hamilton Island Airport arriving from Melbourne (Moorabbin) via Melbourne (Essendon).

UPDATE!  VH-XCU returned to Essendon on Sunday 14 July.
