RAAF Search and Rescue (SAR) Bell 412EP Helicopter VH-VAB "Rescue 82" Completes Medevac Flight to Rockhampton Base Hospital

Late on Monday 15 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Search and Rescue (SAR) Bell 412EP helicopter VH-VAB "Rescue 82" looked to complete a medical evacuation from Shoalwater Bay.

It landed at Rockhampton Base Hospital before flying across to Rockhampton Airport where it was refuelled prior to returning to Camp Growl within the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).

UPDATE!  VH-VAB "Rescue 82" has looked to complete another medevac flight very late on Tuesday 16 July, returned to Shoalwater Bay in the wee small hours of Wednesday 17 July.
