RAAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III Transport Aircraft - A41-213 & A41-212 - Make Late Visits into Williamson Airfield in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA)

It was interesting to note that over the previous couple of days, a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III transport aircraft has looked to pop into Williamson Airfield which is within the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).

Late on Friday 12 July, A41-213, which was flying as "Stallion 26", looked to fly into Williamson Airfield from RAAF Base Amberley.  It then completed airwork around Shoalwater Bay before heading back South to Amberley via more airwork but at Bundaberg Airport.

Then during the afternoon on Saturday 13 July, A41-212, which was also flying as as "Stallion 26", looked to fly directly into Williamson Airfield also from Amberley before later returning direct to Amberley.
